Our Services
There are certain scenarios where screenprinting or embroidery might not be the best fit for your order even those are the highest quality methods.
If that’s the case, we might use a Direct to Film Transfer (DTF). To compare – screenprinting uses the highest quality inks, which are then manually printed onto the garment and into the fibers then cured with a gas fired dryer (the biggest machine in our shop!). DTF transfers are digitally printed onto a transfer sheet then heat-pressed onto your garment. With a DTF transfer you can accomplish a highly detailed design but the longevity and overall feel are not as good as screenprinting. Although screenprinting & embroidery are the first choice at Ink Monkey, a DTF Transfer is a great solution for small order runs and/or designs that have a high number of colors and fine details, like many AI generated designs.
